YouTube Playlists

Have you ever wanted to have a playlist of your favourite YouTube videos? Well, so did I...

YouTube Playlists:
YouTube allows you to have Playlists. Once you create your YouTube playlist, you can play it whenever you have access to a computer that has internet anywhere around the world and even on your mobile phone (Confirmed on Android).

  • Pre-requisites: Before you can create a playlist, you need to have a Google Account. It makes logical sense, since your playlist has to be tied to an account that identifies you. So if you don't have a Google Account, you can easily create on. If you do have one, (via Gmail or any other Google Service), then you can login and head over to YouTube.

  • How to create your playlist: The easiest way to create a playlist is through a video. Once you're logged in, head over to your favourite video. At the bottom of the video, you would see links (tabs), as seen in the image below, titled "About", "Share", "Add To". Click on "Add To". If you already have playlists, your existing playlists would show. You can click on any of the existing playlists to add the song to that existing playlist.

  • It should be obvious now that to create a new playlist, you just have to type in the name of your playlist. Select whether it's public or private and then click on "Create Playlist". If you have playlists, then the list of playlists would be updated to accommodate then new one, if not, then you will see your new playlist listed. To add the song to your playlist, simply click on the playlist.
  • Well that's simple, but how do I access my playlist later? Simple and easy. If not logged in, then you would need to login to your Google Account. On your left hand side, right below the YouTube logo, you would find either of the two below. If you just find Guide as in the top image, click on it and you would see the list as in the bottom image, then click on playlists. If you find the Guide List expanded as in the image below, then just lick on playlists.
